ETIAS soon mandatory for Norway

From the date of entry into force of the ETIAS, it will be required for non-European travelers wishing to enter Norway for a stay of less than 90 days. This electronic travel authorization replaces the short-stay visa for ETIAS-eligible countries.

Stopover or holiday: ETIAS is all you need

For flights with a stopover in Norway: ETIAS is sufficient. It allows you to transit or stay without a visa anywhere in the Schengen area. There’s no need to print out the document, as it’s electronically linked to the passport.

How to apply for ETIAS for Norway

The ETIAS application is 100% online. The form is quick to complete if you have a valid passport. You should make your request at least 8 days before departure, although this may vary from case to case.

The ETIAS fee is payable online by credit card. Processing of the application begins only after validation of payment.
