To get started, log on to the web via computer, tablet or smartphone, then access the ETIAS online form. You don’t need to make an appointment.
Entering personal data
Fill in your personal details carefully, avoiding any typing errors:
- First and last name
- Date and place of birth
- Nationality
- Current address
- Valid e-mail and telephone number
Passport information
You’ll need a valid passport to travel. Make sure it meets the following requirements:
- Valid for at least 3 months after leaving the Schengen area
- Include: number, date of issue and expiry, issuing country
Trip details
Please enter the following information:
- Reason for stay (tourism, business…)
- Address of first accommodation in the Schengen zone
Safety issues
Answer a short questionnaire about :
- Your criminal record
- Your state of health
- Your trips to conflict zones
Verification and secure payment
Review all data before validating. Errors may result in rejection or delays in processing.
ETIAS fees can only be paid by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, etc.).
Receipt of reply
Most requests are processed within a few minutes. You will receive an email with :
- ETIAS approval
- Or refusal, with reasons and right of appeal
In some cases, additional documents may be required: an email will specify the steps to follow and the deadlines.
