Travelling to Poland: ETIAS authorization will soon be compulsory

As soon as the ETIAS system is up and running, non-European travellers will need to obtain an electronic authorization to enter Poland without a visa. This simple formality replaces the visa for tourist stays of less than 90 days.

Do I need an ETIAS to visit Poland?

Yes, if you’re coming from a visa-exempt country, you’ll need ETIAS to cross Polish borders and enter the Schengen area. This also applies to stopovers in Poland, even if you don’t leave the airport.

ETIAS pricing and payment

The cost of ETIAS is €7 for each application. This fee applies to most adult travelers. Payment is made online only, by credit card, when submitting the form.

Processing times

Once the ETIAS form has been completed and the fee paid, it can take up to 96 hours to process the authorization. To avoid any blockage at boarding, it is advisable to apply at least 8 days before departure.
