Completing the ETIAS form: information you need to know

To obtain an ETIAS authorization, you’ll need to fill in an online form with specific questions. Here’s what you need to know before you start.

Personal data to be entered

The form begins with the standard information about your identity:

• Last name, first name, gender (as shown in your passport)
• Date and place of birth
• Nationality shown on passport

This information must match your official documents perfectly.

Mandatory passport information

You must then enter :

• Your passport number
• Its date of issue and expiry date

For a minor, the information is the same as for an adult.

Purpose of trip and country of stay

The ETIAS online form asks you to indicate :

• The country you’ll be staying in longest
• The reason for your trip: tourism, business, transit, etc.

This information is essential for determining the competent Member State.

Medical and safety history

Some questions concern your personal past:

• Serious medical problems, including infectious diseases
• Criminal record: serious offences, terrorism, trafficking, etc.
• Recent trips to conflict zones
• Past visa refusals or expulsions

These elements allow us to quickly assess your profile.

Payment and final validation

Once you have completed the form, you will be asked to pay theETIAS fee directly online. Once validated, the authorization is electronically linked to your passport.

No paper documents are required for boarding.
